Pauline Raineri trained as a dancer at the Conservatoire Régional dʼAnnecy (FR), at the Virginia School of the Arts (USA) and at the Ballet Junior de Genève (CH) from 2010 to 2013. In 2021, she obtained the CAS – Dramaturgy and performance of text, at UNIL and HES-SO La Manufacture.

 

Pauline collaborates as a dancer, actress and assistant choreographer/director with various artists and choreographers such as Sophie Ammann, Trân Tran, Alexandra Gentile, Aline Morvan, Mark Lorimer, Arnaud Mathey, Olivia Grandville, Roméo Castellucci & Cindy Van Acker, Bahri Ben Yahmed, James Finnemore, Woman's Move, among others.

 

In June 2016, she founded the WAVE company in Geneva and toured in Switzerland and Europe, notably with her solo Si | Si, selected for the Tanzfaktor 2018 tour organized by RESO – Réseau Danse Suisse, and the piece Femmosité with Sophie Ammann in 2019/20 in co-production with TU-Théâtre de l'Usine in Geneva and Les Chorégraphiques in Vevey.

 

In 2022, she co-founded and organized the LA BAIGNADE festival with Cassiane Pfund in the Saules building in Geneva. In 2023, she programmed four dance performances at the Bains des Pâquis as part of the Pâquizarts project.

 

Pauline continues to train throughout her professional activity. She follows training courses around dance dramaturgy with the Théâtre Sévelin 36, clown workshops with Alexandra Gentile as well as theatrical improvisation with Laurent Baier. Since November 2021, Pauline has been training in wrestling with Geneva Total Wrestling (GTW) and fights under the name The Iconic Charlie.
